SCIENTZ-IID is designed for efficient disruption and dispersion of cells, tissues, bacteria, viruses and nanomaterials across life sciences, materials science, food engineering and environmental research.
Compact Design, Powerful Performance
Powered by a 1000 W digital ultrasonic generator (20–1000 W continuously adjustable), SCIENTZ-IID processes samples from 100 μL to 600 mL, providing excellent flexibility for both precious micro-volume and routine laboratory samples.

SCIENTZ-IID
Key Features
- Automatic frequency tracking (20–25 kHz) using DSP-based digital control for stable ultrasonic output.
- Programmable multi-step protocols with storage for up to 50 methods.
- Wide processing range from 100 μL to 600 mL with multiple probe options.
- Motorized lifting stand, transparent safety enclosure, LED illumination and over-temperature/fault alarms.
- Titanium alloy probe for efficient energy transfer, corrosion resistance and reduced contamination risk.
Working Principle
Ultrasonic cavitation generates intense shear forces in liquids, disrupting cells while enabling homogenization, emulsification, dispersion and particle size reduction.

Applications
• Cell, bacteria, virus and spore disruption
• DNA fragmentation for NGS and ChIP workflows
• Beverage homogenization and accelerated dissolution
• Soil and rock sample homogenization
• Pharmaceutical dispersion and extraction
• Nanomaterial dispersion and emulsification
