The SCIENTZ-08 Industrial Ultrasonic Cell Pulverizer is a high-power ultrasonic processing system developed specifically for industrial production environments. Building on SCIENTZ's experience with laboratory ultrasonic equipment, the SCIENTZ-08 is designed to provide a practical bridge between research and production-scale processing.
01 | Designed for Production
The SCIENTZ-08 features dual-excitation transducer technology, delivering high ultrasonic power and supporting long-duration continuous operation. With a maximum ultrasonic power of 2,400 W and a single-batch processing capacity of 1–5 L, the system is equipped with a large 38 mm diameter horn tip to provide sufficient ultrasonic energy input for larger-volume materials.
Operating at 15 kHz, the SCIENTZ-08 belongs to the low-frequency, high-power ultrasonic category. Its stronger cavitation energy supports intensive processing, with achievable particle sizes of approximately 20–100 μm under suitable process conditions.
The system can be applied in pilot-scale workshops and production environments across industries including cosmetics, biotechnology, materials science, chemical processing, and environmental applications.

02 | Industrial-Grade Performance
• Long-Time Continuous Operation - Unlike laboratory equipment that commonly operates in intermittent cycles, the SCIENTZ-08 is designed for continuous processing. A 1 L sample can be processed in approximately 15 minutes. Its microcomputer-based control system allows independent operation of system functions and facilitates maintenance.
• Overload Protection - Built-in overload protection helps support stable operation in demanding industrial environments. For temperature-sensitive materials, an optional cooling liquid circulation system can be configured to enable low-temperature ultrasonic processing and help protect heat-sensitive components.
• Adjustable Duty Cycle - The duty cycle can be continuously adjusted from 1% to 99%, supporting both pulsed and continuous operating modes to accommodate different material characteristics and process requirements. A digital display provides clear visibility of operating status.
03 | Working Principle: Ultrasonic Cavitation
The SCIENTZ-08 works through the cavitation effect generated by high-intensity ultrasound in liquids. The transducer converts electrical energy into mechanical ultrasonic energy, which is transmitted through the horn into the liquid. This generates intense shear forces and rapidly alternating pressure fields.
As cavitation bubbles form, expand, and collapse, they generate localized pressure peaks and shock waves. These effects can contribute to cell disruption, particle size reduction, and material dispersion. In liquid-based polymer processing, ultrasonic cavitation can also promote dispersion by generating strong localized mechanical forces.
