Technical Parameters

Environmental soil research and development laboratory soil freeze dryer SCIENTZ-10N, is a small vacuum freeze dryer equipment, suitable for low-temperature freeze-drying preparation of a small amount of soil samples, such as culture soil, sediment.

Freeze-drying technology is a drying technique in which a wet material or solution is frozen to a solid state at a lower temperature, and then the water therein is directly sublimed into a gaseous state without a liquid state, and finally the material is dehydrated.

In the monitoring and analysis of soil samples, according to the different analysis items, the sample should be pretreated before the determination of the content of the components to be tested.

The soil sample pretreatment scheme covers the freeze-drying of the elements before the soil sample is detected, the freeze-drying of the soil organic matter, and the locking of the original form of the soil to ensure the maintenance of the soil sample before the test, so as to ensure the authenticity and effectiveness of the soil sample monitoring.

Commonly used pretreatment methods include full-scale analysis, effective state analysis, and morphological analysis.

(1) Full quantity analysis

The full-scale analysis has a decomposition method and an extraction method, the former for the determination of elements and the latter for the determination of organic pollutants and unstable components. The main methods are as follows.

1. Wet digestion

Also known as wet oxidation. It is to combine the soil sample with one or two kinds of strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, perchloric acid, etc.) to a certain volume, and to decompose the organic matter into CO2 and H20. In order to accelerate the oxidation rate, an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide, potassium permanganate or potassium persulfate may be added and a catalyst.

2. Dry ashing

Also known as combustion or pyrolysis. According to the nature of the components to be tested, platinum, quartz, nickel or porcelain enamel is used to hold the sample, which is heated in a high-temperature electric furnace, and the temperature is controlled at 450-550 ° C to completely ash, and the residue is dissolved for analysis.

3. Solvent extraction

The component to be tested is extracted from the soil sample with a solvent, and the extract is used for analysis. Mainly used for the extraction and analysis of organic pollutants. Common extraction methods include oscillation extraction method, cable extraction method, and ultrasonic extraction.
